Post 3: Janis Joplin

 It's really hard to decide on just one artist that has inspired me but within the ones that came to my mind is clearly Janis Joplin. 

Beautiful singer and person who vibrates intensely with music.

Janis was born in Texas, United States in 1943 she was an icon of the hippie movement and the blues and rock of the 60's.

My mom tells me that since I was little I loved listening to Janis. Sometimes a friend of my mom would take care of me and she loves Janis. Then we always listened to it together and then I would come home asking to listen to Janis hehehe...

I think the passion and the sound of this woman caught my attention being so small and well to this day it continues to touch my soul.

She embodies total fluidity in music with and without audience and a passion given to music.

Post 4: La lengua de las mariposas.

  Undoubtedly of the films that have marked me the most is "The language of the Butterflies". I remember I saw this movie when I was very young (8 years old). We saw her one weekend afternoon at home with my parents and cousins. My older cousin told us about the movie and then we decided to watch it. Is a Spanish film released in 1999. The history takes in a village in Spain in the first half of the twentieth century. Spain was in the second republic and the beginning of the civil war. It is in this context that the story of an eight year old boy named Moncho who begins to go to school takes place. It is here that he meets the professor, Don Gregorio, who in his work as a teacher instilled that his students grow up in freedom.  Don Gregorio, as is to be suspected, was of leftist ideas and like Moncho's family those who supported Republican ideas.  The ending I will not tell you because I really recommend this movie. Post 5: Be a musician.

 It makes me very strange to think about this because I feel that being a musician is being out of the system. The truth is that I would love to be able to live economically from my musical projects. Get a decent salary for being an art worker. I would like to play in many places, in many countries. Sharing my creations and spreading the musical heritage of Chile. Cultivate roots music in Chile and the world. I want to do this because it is mainly what I love and it fills my soul. I also believe in the great power of this profession to sensitize people towards a more humane world. To achieve concrete living from this, the essential thing is to believe in what I do accompanied by many hours of study and creativity, on the other hand, have an organization of times and logistics to specify all the ideas because most likely we are our own bosses. Although it is a job with a very uncertain future, but for a long time I have put everything of myself to achieve it.

Post 2: Beautiful Holidays

In my life I have had many beautiful vacations and I am very grateful for that. It is really a fortune and privilege to be able to know. I have chosen to write about a trip that I had when I was 15 years old. It was a trip with a great group of Spanish friends. They were on a university exchange here in Chile. We were a very united and fun group. This was my first hitchhiking trip and I was so excited also I was the smallest of the group and that's why everyone took care for me. They're lovely. Our trip was course to the north of Chile. We managed to get to Copiapó on a two week trip. We made stops at different places to sleep in tents. The first night was a bit of terror because we were in the middle of nowhere in a desert!! In my memory and heart three places were mainly engraved: "Punta de Choros", this place was very quiet, we met a beautiful island and the most exciting thing was seeing dolphins!, algo "Pisco Elqui", it was a beautiful and very magical ...
